Day 1: Reconnecting and looking forward to Phase II

This internal meeting is open to all MSSU staff, Science Leads, and Patient Partners will focus on the development of the SPOR Phase II funding business case and how we put this vision into practice going forward.

Breakout groups: Interprovincial collaboration
Group 1: Research process - Discuss a guiding document for cross-provincial research projects. What has been done and what is there left to do?
Group 2: Resource development - How are resources developed cross-provincially (e.g. use of document development policy)? Are there resources that we can create together cross-provincially that aren’t already being developed in this way? 
Group 3: Capacity development - Discuss different capacity development initiatives across MSSU locations. What has been done? Where can we collaborate?
Group 4: Barriers and enablers - Discuss what the obstacles to interprovincial collaboration have been and identify some enablers to allow for more collaboration.

Day 2: Planning for the future of Patient-Oriented Research (POR)
Community Day | September 15, 2020, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

This day is open to MSSU staff, MSSU Patient Partners, MSSU Associate Scientists, and close collaborators. It’s an opportunity to connect with our community about lessons learned through COVID-19, learn about important areas of focus for the next phase of the MSSU, and discuss how to continue building collaborative working relationships across organizations and provinces.
