Developing a Knowledge Translation Tool to Facilitate Physical Activity Discussions in Oncology Care 

Speaker: Dr. Angela Fong is a faculty member (Instructor of Medicine) in Population Science at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and in Medical Oncology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers University.

Learning objectives

At the end of this presentation the audience will be able to:

  1. Identify current knowledge-to-practice gaps in oncology practice with respect to physical activity promotion among cancer survivors.
  2. Describe a mixed-methods approach to applying the AGREE II instrument in oncology care and health promotion contexts.
  3. Identify areas for future research using knowledge translation science to promote physical activity among cancer survivors.
